Energy consulting firm Geometric Strategies, LLC, develops creative solutions to energy-related public policy issues, including electric system reliability, retail competition, price volatility, energy tax reform, global climate change, and utility rate designs. As President of Geometric Strategies, Tom Rose brings together diverse internal and external groups to implement workable solutions to complex energy policy and regulatory challenges. For the past nine years he has served as President of Geometric Strategies. He is also Senior Consultant with CMG Consulting, focusing on regulatory reforms to accelerate modernization of the power grid. Prior to that time, he served for eight years as Chief Executive Officer of Clean Energy Technology Association and 33 years in numerous staff, management and executive roles, including Vice President, Public Policy for TXU Corporation during implementation of competition in ERCOT.
